HuAY Lin

My entry for 's contest >w< This time i tried to keep the style more close to some of the art out there about W.I.T.C.H. For this entry, I did Hay Lin as Hua Mulan from Mulan(obviously >v<). I did her in the outfit referenced from images2.fanpop.com/images/phot…

My reasons for doing this crossover were because Mulan might be my favourite Disney oldschool-ish movie(Tangled is definitely my favourite), and they have so many similarities! They are both of Chinese ethnicity, they're both pretty :3, they are both amazing at fighting, and they even have similar names!

Mulan used a fan when she goes to see the marriage matchmaker in the first movie so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone and do an artwork based on both of them! However, instead of using that same fan from the movie, I used Hay Lin's magical weapon, her fan, to add her touch to the crossover >w<.

I also felt the need to add in a stream of cherry blossom petals floating down in a gust of wind because Hay Lin is the Guardian of Air, so I figured she could be making the petals flow around her all pretty-like >w<

Anyways, I hope you all like it, and wish me luck for the contest, I'll need it (so many adorable artworks and smart crossovers already!)
