I know I'm a bit late to hop on the bandwagon, but in tribute of the new season of Korra(that I've eagerly waited for) I had to do a piece about her :3 Might do more later on, but I'm still trying to do different styles and practice backgrounds. For once I never did a 'clean' lineart, so I hope that the sketchy look looks alright >w<
This was also the first piece I actually did a lot of in Photoshop(it's so different to sai ), namely the background. If any of you haven't already, you should check out yuumei's amazing cloud background tutorial, because that's what I used to make this background. I even used her cloud brushes >w<. Who knew doing the southern lights was so hard , so hopefully you could make them out (._.ll')
Back on topic, I'm so excited for what's going to happen in the new season :3. Even though I like the original Avatar, the last airbender more, I still love Korra >v<
Hope you guys like this piece >w< and any feedback is welcome~

#i really like this. I really commend you on the southern lights because since you weren't so used to using photoshop, adjusting can be hard. I think the southern lights were done beautifully, they weren't too dark, but not too light. Great job!
